Pacific Mornings

Early light along the coast is slow to arrive. The fog sits low over the water, the colours stay quiet, and for a while everything looks like a single soft grey. These are a few frames from mornings spent walking the shore before the day started.
I like how little happens at that hour. The tide goes out, the sand is still unmarked, and the horizon comes and goes behind the mist.

Further along, the fog lifts and the dunes show their shape. The light is low and warm, and every ridge gets its own shadow.
